Terms & Conditions

Price.

If you wish to advertise your service or product to residents living in this area, The
Marshfield Mail represents incredible value. You can get coverage for a whole year (12
issues) for less than one insert in the Western Mail.

No VAT.

The price you see is the price you pay – unlike most publications where an extra 20.0%
is added to the bill. This is because we are a small independently run business.

It is truly local.

The Marshfield Mail is produced by someone living in the village. Most advertisers
operate in or close to the area. There is strong evidence that truly local services are
preferred by the majority of the UK population.

Affluent area.

In the most recent council figures, the Marshfield ward is shown as one of the most
prosperous in Newport with the majority of households in social classes 1 & 2.

Longevity.

It isn’t thrown away each week like a local newspaper. It has a lot of community content
for residents to refer back to throughout the month so is kept as a reference book.

Quality.

The Marshfield Mail has a very high standard of print and production. All artwork can be
finished to ensure that your company image is enhanced by its association with a high
quality publication.

Editorial opportunities.

One or two advertisers each month are featured in their own two page editorial spread.
This gives them a depth of coverage that is normally only available at huge expense in
other publications. Editorials are shown to have 5 times more readership than adverts

Distribution

The Marshfield Mail is published and distributed monthly, on or around the
first week in the month.
It is delivered to approximately 2,800 homes and 200 within businesses in
Marshfield and its surrounding areas.

Format & Design

It is an A5 size booklet, stapled, colour or black & white printed on
115gram gloss paper.
The Marshfield Mail is printed on 90g silk paper giving it a very high
quality feel
Because of its size, content, look and feel it is kept by the majority of
households until the next issue arrives, thereby giving advertisers
‘immediacy of access’ when their services are required.
